The Position:

We are seeking a General Construction Labourer to provide general labour support to the construction team and report to the Site Superintendent.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·      Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas

·      Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rates, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment

·      Prepare work area for subtrades

·      Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills and other tools, as directed by Site Superintendent.

·      General cleanup of the job site to maintain a safe, clean work area

Qualifications and Skills Required:

·      Ability to lift 50 lbs at a time

·      Capable to lift, bend, climb, and stand for long hours

·      Basic knowledge and cooperation of site safety requirements

·      Reliable, hardworking team player

·      Ability to work outdoors in all seasons (extreme cold & heat)

·      A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license preferred, but reliable transportation at a minimum.
