The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician Assistant to join our team. This role will focus on supporting our Maintenance Technician by assisting with preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and general upkeep of our residential multifamily properties.

What You’ll Do

·      Assist with preventative maintenance programs to ensure buildings and equipment remain in excellent condition

·      Complete routine inspections of building systems, common areas, and mechanical spaces

·      Support the Maintenance Technician with basic repairs and maintenance tasks (plumbing, minor electrical, fixtures, etc.)

·      Perform seasonal maintenance such as filter changes, drain checks, and exterior upkeep

·      Assist with preparing units for new residents, including basic repairs and touch-ups

·      Maintain clean and organized mechanical rooms, storage areas, and maintenance supplies

·      Help track work orders and maintenance activities through digital systems

·      Support vendor visits and coordinate minor maintenance tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

·      Some experience in property maintenance, construction, or general building upkeep is an asset

·      Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards

·      Willingness to learn and develop maintenance skills

·      Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment

·      Good organizational skills and comfort using digital work order systems

·      Positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service to residents

Compensation

$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Must be eligible to work in Canada.
