The Opportunity
Reporting to the Construction Lead, the Project Manager oversees all aspects of project construction from start to finish, providing key input to ensure that the project is estimated and developed according to the Paragon standards as well as within the timeline and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create project construction plan prior to site commencement including site layout, schedule, safety, logistics and quality.
· Provide input during preconstruction including review of the construction documents needed for construction.
· Liaison between consultant team and subtrade partners throughout the project and ensure proper lines of communication are kept, with Paragon being provided documentation of discussions/coordinated items.
· Establish and update project schedule. Work in tandem with Site Superintendent to ensure short cycle schedule aligns with overall project schedule.
· Support Site Superintendent during pull planning/last planner meetings including rectification plan for constraints or long lead items.
· Coordinate and complete all requests for information, site clarifications, and proposed changes to work.
· Create and complete project change events and change orders.
· Review all shop drawings and submittals and coordinate with trade partners as needed.
· Provide input during the tender of project including determining scope of work packages.
· Take part in negotiations with subcontractors including input for inclusions and exclusions.
· Update and review project budget including monthly forecasting and reporting. Includes identifying financial risks and providing proposed mitigation plans. PM to lead internal project update meetings.
· Support Site Superintendent and Safety Coordinator with implementation and enforcement of Safety standards and procedures. Assign disciplinary action with direction of Construction Lead when/if needed.
· Support Site Superintendent with implementation and enforcement of Quality Assurance standards and procedures. This includes providing direction to sub trade partners above site level if deemed necessary.
· Lead and complete project close out items including permit close out submittals, testing requirements included as building commissioning, deficiency correction, and building turn over items.

Compensation
$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Must be eligible to work in Canada.
