Project Overview

Initially designed as a 36-unit condo building by another developer, Paragon took over and redeveloped the project 255 Bell to hold 51 units and make it more financially viable for the location. With this change alone, we engineered over a million dollars in savings. We re-envisioned the 255 Bell project to set a new standard for Osborne Village living. Every decision of this project was made with consideration for the Osborne Village demographic of young professionals, students, or those who would like a comfortable long-term residence to live out their mid to later years.

Exterior

This four-story building was built to fit in with the character of the neighbourhood. Motifs were taken from the surrounding buildings, such as classic brick masonry, to create a timeless design using current products and trends. 255 Bell’s roofline is fashion-forward and combines new age elements with traditional design trends, such as panelized James Hardie and EZ Trim system as well as aluminum siding highlights. The ground floor units have been designed to accommodate community living with walk up patios.

Interior

We redesigned the building to offer large, bright suites with the work or study from home lifestyle in mind. With the ever evolving market scene, the one and two-bedroom suites are specifically designed to cater to the work from home lifestyle. To fit with the neighbourhood’s trendy social scene, 255 Bell features walkout patios, an interactive residents’ lounge, and heated underground parking. All units have a high level of finish and detailing including nine-foot ceilings, quartz countertops, stainless steel kitchen appliances, and in-suite laundry.
